This is basically a list of thing I tend to say in chat that most of you probably get already. Though a few out there I think still don't get some of my shorthands. So I thought the best thing to do was try and give an in depth explanations for the more complex ones. ("Remember parents will be parents.")
Dinnertime/dinner/lunch/lunchtime/breakfast/brunch (rare):
Being call for stated meal time. So I will usually dash away from the keyboard after I post this. So I don't see any other message that are post after I say this, till after I'm back.
I don't like one(s) calling me yelling at me. (This is a lot more dangerous on stressful days as it can ruin the rest of the day/week.) So the most I can stall for is about one or two minutes tops. (So lottos even L&L are to risky to hold out for. If it goes over the two minutes I'm in "danger" basically.)
I'm not bailing without reason or would you rather I get yelled at and be unhappy the rest or the day/week?
If I'm unhappy it's harder for me to concentrate so not as much work can be done or it take twice the effort to do something then when I'm in a good mood. Plus this usually also result in a longer Siesta. (Those days are like it's lot safer in the dream world so .)
BRB/brb:
This one is Standard chat for be right back. I needed/minimize chat for one reason another or someones asking me to do something.
AFK:
Standard even Echo using this one: away from keyboard
same as above.
BBL
Be back later.
Real life calls. I can stall for one or two minutes tops unless it's almost class/appointment time. Same results might happen if I try to stall longer.
Switching:
switching devices now that I got a IRC that behaves on my smart-phone I can switch between the lapotop and smart-phone more now. Not when I'm eating or during class or appointment times.
RL:
Real life. Every day stuff you do when not on-line sometimes can interrupt your on-line time as well. ex: Work/class/appointment/meal times.
On occasion I might use idioms if I'm annoyed at something/having a rough week/day. Those explanation can be found here: idioms.thefreedictionary.com/
